Dr. Burton received his Bachelor of Science degree from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon and his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry in 1986. He has had additional training in ocular therapeutics at the University of Houston College of Optometry.
As an optometric physician Dr. Burton provides a broad spectrum of eye care services including, routine eye examinations, diabetic eye examinations, ocular disease management such as glaucoma, co-management of cataract and LASIK surgery, and contact lense fitting.
Away from the office Dr. Burton enjoys golf, photography, and traveling with his wife Kathy.
Robert P. Gervais, M.D.
Dr. Gervais received his medical degree from the University of Ottawa in 1970. He did an Internal medicine rotation at Ottawa Civic Hospital. His ophthalmology residency was at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton, Canada. Dr. Gervais did an additional residency at Stanford University. He is board certified in ophthalmology. Before joining Hope Eye Center he was in private practice in Mesa, Arizona for 30 years. Away from the office he enjoys playing classical and jazz music on the piano.
